Lifestyle Sports Adidas Dublin Marathon
DeafHear.ie is a charity organisation which provides services and supports to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and their families.
This is our first time to fundraise via the Lifestyle Sports Adidas Dublin Marathon and we invite
you to run, walk or jog to raise much-needed funds to support our vital services. You will be helping a very worthwhile cause, so put your best foot forward and join in the fun!
DeafHear provides a wide range of services including;
- Family Services
- Community Services
- Assistive Technology
- Hearing & Communication Therapy
- Information & Advice
- Mental Health & Deafness Clinics
These services are available through a national network of resource centres & outreach programmes
DeafHear.ie is also actively involved in advocating and lobbying for improved services and new developments including UNHS (Universal Newborn Hearing Screening), Aural Rehabilitation and Education.
What will your contribution do?
€10 will contribute towards Day Centre services we provide to older persons
€20 will help DeafHear continue hosting the ‘PLUM’ group for pre-school children
€50 will provide for summer camp activities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing teenagers
€80 will pay for one newborn baby’s hearing to be screened
