DeafHear Summer Camps by Aoife Morris

DeafHear DeafHear Summer Camps by Aoife Morris.

I have been going to DeafHear summer camps every year since I was six years old, I wear hearing aids, I am thirteen now.

I remember my first time going, I was so excited but nervous too. I always get details of events off my auntie Marie who is part of the DeafHear team.

DeafHear was a fantastic way for me to meet other children with a hearing loss, I have met some lovely people at these events. My cousin and I attended every year and we had such great fun on all summer camps, and family days.

The whole DeafHear team were so helpful and supportive to me. Over the years I attended I found myself getting more confident, I would recommend any child to attend these events as I thoroughly enjoyed the fun and social inclusion I felt from DeafHear.
