Free lecture in National Library

DeafHear.ie History of Deaf Culture Free lecture in National Library 2016.On Tuesday next, August 9th, Liam Breen will give a talk on the History of Deaf Culture, in the National Library of Ireland. Liam is a prominent member of the Deaf Heritage Centre in Deaf Village Ireland, Cabra, Dublin.

The talk is a first in any of Ireland's national cultural institutions, in that it will be given in sign-language, with an interpreter (Cormac Leonard) for the hearing audience.

This free talk is part of the Summer Talks taking place at lunchtime every Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm in the National Library of Ireland, Kildare Street.
