Posted: 7th September 2016

The Kerry Deaf Group visited Dublin for our final summer event of 2016.

Heading off bright and early on the train we anticipated a great day ahead. And we were not disappointed.

As we had left on the 7am train from Kerry we were ready for a cuppa and a snack as soon as we landed in Dublin. Then it was off in search of the Wax Museum.

What an interesting place! We worked our way through the different rooms and visited all the floors. The models were so lifelike, it was difficult at times to tell them apart from some of the other visitors!

After a few fun hours we went in search for lunch and a little window shopping. Many in the group had some great souvenirs to bring home with them.

Back on the train for the long journey home and a chance to reflect on the day’s events.
