DeafHear’s new Resource Centre opening Monday 20th August 2012 in Deaf Village Ireland


DeafHear’s New Resource Centre in the new Deaf Village Ireland Campus in Cabra will open on Monday August 20th.
This is a very exciting development for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. DeafHear will be actively involved with all the other organisations on the campus in developing a vibrant new centre where all Deaf and Hard of Hearing people can participate in and enjoy a range of activities and services.

From Monday August 20th you will be able to access all of the usual DeafHear services in our new resource centre located in the Old Chapel Wing on the ground floor, including Deaftech, Family Support and our comprehensive information service on all aspects of deafness and hearing loss. Our contact details remain the same...and we look forward to seeing there you soon!
Getting there is easy!

Don’t worry if you can’t make it to Cabra an outreach service will continue at North Frederick Street.

How to get there?

120 and 122 (to Ratoath Road)
Get the bus from O’Connell Street, near Abbey Street; these buses will stop at Ratoath Road where DeafHear centre is located and it is only few minutes walk.

37,38,38A, 38B, 39, 70 and 122 (to Navan Road)
Get any of these buses from O’Connell Street, near Abbey Street and bus will drop you at McDonalds on the Navan Road You can go in Deaf Village’s main entrance on Navan Road and look for DeafHear’s resource centre.

No more parking charges! There is ample free car parking on the campus, which can be accessed from the Ratoath Road. There is also a pedestrian entrance from the Navan Road.
Note: Our Resource Centre in North Frederick Street will remain open to personal callers who are unable to travel to our Cabra Centre.
