Autumn Meeting 2013

DeafHear.ie Autumn Meeting 2013.

The Irish Tinnitus Association’s Autumn meeting will take place on:

Saturday 23rd November 2013

in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin 8.

Admission is free.

It will commence at 10.00am with registration, tea and coffee and the meeting will start at 11.00am.
We are pleased to announce that our keynote speakers this year are
Ross O’Neill and Helen Byrne.

Ross O’Neill, Ph.D is a bio medical engineer and inventor. He will be speaking on his research into the ‘Mute Button’ which is a
non–invasive device that treats the effects of tinnitus.

Helen Byrne, BA, H.Dip.Ed, Post-Grad, Dip.Psych.Post-Grad.Dip will talk on mindfulness. Mindfulness is a meditation approach that can be used in coping with tinnitus . Helen teaches this approach in a wide variety of contexts
